Lipsink (Marcel Bellve of Crap Date) Drops Single / Video 'Leitmotif'

Crap Date's Marcel Bellve spent lockdown in a world of Blender and synths, emerging with a grunty new electronic track as solo project Lipsink. Previously cropping up in compilations and remixes, Lipsink's latest cut 'Leitmotif' is the first from an EP out in September, and comes with a melancholy, sci-fi 3D clip, which (as someone who has seen two and a half Star Wars) I have interpreted as a heartbreaking tale of C-3PO's unrequited love for Princess Leia. The other half of Crap Date, Jamie Lee Smith, features on 'Leitmotif' with "some weird alien bvs", and delved into a neon 3D rendered world to assist Bellve in the creation of their outstanding and heartbreaking Blender-based short film.
