Kicking off with a spacey swoop, Tāmaki Makaurau's Green Grove aka the project of Durham Fenwick (New Gum Sarn, Bozo, Guardian Singles) helps ease you into Friday morning with 'Mog's House', the meditative lead single from a newly announced album named Of Isthmus, launching in mid-November via Sunreturn. With a title calling to mind the hilariously unwholesome world of Simon Hanselmann comics (or perhaps their all-ages predecessor), 'Mog's House' is thankfully a blissful experience for your ears to behold, described as "an aural offering to the space we both spent our second lockdown in and our lil furry friend Mog" — unfurling washes of woozy synths, tinkling keys and celestial vocal utterances from collaborator Emma Hall-Phillips (Aw B) over its somehow too short five minute duration. Envisioned as a six track collection of "ambient and soundtrack soundscapes," Of Isthmus follows on from Green Grove's very fine 2019 debut long player Machine Music — enter the world of 'Mog's House' below...

'Of Isthmus' launches on Friday 13th November via Sunreturn.
