Tāmaki Makaurau electronic production wiz Leaping Tiger has put a futuristic spin on the title track to Pōneke / Invercargill songwriter Sam Cullen's debut collection 1000x. Deconstructing then assembling a chrome-surfaced cybernetic armour around Cullen's original tune, Leaping Tiger's remix of '1000x' pairs tender-hearted sentiment with celestial synth arrangements and crystalline beat construction — breeding a compellingly next-gen mutation of both artists' sonic visions in the process...
