Wrapping up a dog of a year in style, the champs at 100% Good have released a heroically stacked fundraiser compilation in support of legendary Tāmaki venues Whammy Bar and Wine Cellar. Featuring unlicensed tracks, covers or b-sides by such Aotearoa superstars as The Beths, Marlon Williams (covering Art Garfunkel's 'Bright Eyes'), Reb Fountain (who has also just announced a summer headline show in Whangarei), Princess Chelsea, Hans Pucket, French For Rabbits, Sulfate, Womb, Dad Jokes and many more, We Love Whammy & Wine Cellar is available for purchase over on Bandcamp here, with all funds going directly to the aforementioned crucial independent venues, who have helped launch the careers of so many of our finest local artists over the past 15+ years. The collection is curated by Anthony Metcalf, who was inspired to take action by the impact of 2020's multiple lockdowns and ongoing event restrictions on our live community, as he explained...

"Whammy Bar and the Wine Cellar have been such important venues in the Auckland music infrastructure, and for many of these acts when they first started out. We need to make sure these venues are still around for the next musicians coming through."

'We Love Whammy & Wine Cellar' is out now digitally over on 100% Good's Bandcamp page.
