Ex-Partner Joins A Cult In 'The Weatherboards Are The Skin' Video
Recently spotted at The Thirsty at an event which featured literal waterboarding, courtesy of forthcoming summer tour buds Grecco Romank, Ex-Partner reveals a brand spanking video for track 'The Weatherboards Are The Skin'. First heard as the opener on their Flatmate Coup D'etat EP in November last year, 'The Weatherboards Are The Skin' is chilling in its doomy, descending synths and gated beats, relaying an all too familiar tale of sub-par flat living. The video, created by Grecco Romank's Damian Golfinopoulos, is a surreal mini-movie that raises more questions than it answers, but ultimately romanticises the fantasy of heading down Auckland's local cult rabbit hole. Best watched with an open mind and an open notebook on hand, 'The Weatherboards Are The Skin' visuals may awaken a sudden interest in the occult...
Ex-Partner and Grecco Romank take their acts on the road this month and next, hitting six stops around the country for The Mental Stealth Tour — find the details on their social media pages.
