Banding together in support of a crucial cause, The Cthulus, The Biscuits and Smokin’ Daggers are throwing their weight behind a special benefit show for Hollow Grinders beatsman Dirk Thrust aka Dr Dean Ballinger — "drummer, artist, radio DJ, educator, writer, poet and all round GC" who is dealing with Motor Neurone Disease. Happening this Friday at Tāmaki's Whammy Backroom, the fundraiser comes hot on the heels of November's massive In Thrust We Trust compilation, jam-packed with new tunes by a small army of artists from Hamilton / Kirikiriroa and beyond.
