Weekly Roundup: Friday 12th February

Weekly Roundup: Friday 12th February

It's been a short week of weirdly crappy weather and quite exceptional local music releases (scroll down for proof), as we head into a weekend that's thankfully looking to be sunny again. It was a good one for features too — we got on the blower with Boss Dude, owner / operator of Newtown's almighty Creeps Record Parlour for a chinwag about tonight's Creep On Creepin' extravaganza at Wellington Museum and what keeping it real's all about, and caught up with Pōneke multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Ben Lemi, who generously shared some of the artistic inspirations for his dreamy Dawn Diver project, who are also performing at Wellington Museum this Saturday! Just in case super city readers were getting jealous of the windy capital, we also put together a special one-stop guide to what's happening at Takapuna Beach's Sunset Sounds event, starring Tami Neilson, Hollie Smith, Anna Coddington, LAIIKA, as part of Waterbourne Beach Festival in early March.
