Listen To Crone's Ominous New Single 'Crush'
Pōneke electronic 'sci-fi goth' duo crone aka Emily Berryman and Lucy Reid, co-founders of the boundary-pushing MESH series of live events and mixes, have returned with their first single since 2019's self-titled three track EP. Aptly entitled 'crush', the pair's pitch black seven minute track slowly gathers force with intensifying layers of ominous atmospherics, swooping drones, metallic clattering percussion and incessantly pounding kicks. We imagine 'crush' would be a bone-rattling experience when felt physically in club environments, which is exactly where you can catch crone performing this Saturday at Valhalla's Malpractice event, as part of an all-killer bill also including Ursula Le Sin, Acid Police, Current Bias, Zozo and Alice Agnes...
