TOOMS Unveil Furious Single / Video 'Blanket'

Tāmaki Makaurau's TOOMS, the team supreme of Dorian Noval and Nich Cunningham, have dropped a new single / video combo that'll kick your ass before your day's even underway. The song's called 'Blanket', but you can forget about any sense of security being involved — more like soul crushing, double-barrelled hollering regarding "the complicated futility of life in general" and grunty guitar / drums action that made them the natural choice to support Sleaford Mods in February last year. Fellow super city duo Jamie-Lee Smith and Marcel Bellve (known to dance lovers as Crap Date) cooked up an equally mind-frying video, featuring digitally rendered avatars of TOOMS letting rip in a sun-baked setting far away from their Wine Jail lair, with tonnes of unhinged animated flourishes to ensure you don't enjoy yourself too much.
