This month nicholas Franchise have treated us to an album released on home soil and a local tour to boot, having shared and journeyed their 2018 debut album Setup while in Portland, Oregon. Their new collection Return On Investment has all the trimmings of a Dunedin pop-rock band finding their feet, only nicholas Franchise have a distinct flare for uptempo beats that could rally even the meekest indie boy to have a boogie at the gig. Frontman Nick Davies and his band have taken the Unleash The Franchise Tour all the way up the South Island already this month, and are hopping over Te Moana-o-Raukawa for a Wellington show this Friday.
