Three Years Of Klang — Auckland Event Announced

Tāmaki Makaurau-based purveyors of hammering techno, Klang are celebrating three years of (literally) underground late night club events with a much-deserved birthday extravaganza at Whammy Bar on 5th June. Showcasing sonically uncompromising DJs from Aotearoa and Australia, and inspired by the revolutionary ethos of Detroit pioneers Underground Resistance to escape the chains on music, Klang launched with a desire to create "a space to shelter against oppressive economics," in retaliation to the unviable spiralling cost of living in their super city hometown. While the lineup for Klang's third anniversary event is currently under lock and key, the first birthday party featured globally respected Melbourne industrial techno figurehead Mickey Nox of Green Fetish Records (the second one didn't happen due to bloody Covid).
