Louisa Nicklin Shares Single / Video 'There Will Be Times'
Louisa Nicklin and bandmates Eamon Edmundson-Wells (Pixels) and Mason Fairey (The Naenae Express, Green Grove) get new 'dos in the video for single 'There Will Be Times'. This catchy new drop is the third track revealed so far from Nicklin's self-titled debut album, and most toe-tap-able of the three after moody singles 'To Be Fine' and 'Water Around Her' have left us ruminating since February when Louisa Nicklin was first announced. However, don't be fooled by the cheery trot of organ and snare, Nicklin hasn't strayed far from the clever doom and gloom we love, with chorus refrain "There will be times where some of us might find that we don't want to live, we don't want to die". Armed with the creative force of director Sheldene Seth and hairdo producer Sylvia Dew of Big Gay Hair, and created with the support of NZ On Air, Nicklin injects a bit of tragic beauty into the mundane in the video for 'There Will Be Times'.
