Liam Finn Auckland Show Announced w/ Noa Records

Currently one fifth of the pop-rock juggernaut that is Crowded House, Liam Finn has announced an exceedingly rare solo headline event at Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Backroom on Friday 14th May, which is this coming Friday! The former Betchadupa frontman, BARB member and creator of such celebrated albums as The Nihilist, FOMO and I'll Be Lightning will be joined by the Noa Records crew, the sonic voyaging Aotearoa / Te Moana Nui a Kiwa collective whose output has been nothing less than inspirational since they got the ball rolling with their 151 KRD: IMPROV compilation back in 2019. Little has been revealed about this week's event — simply the statement "The return of the one-man band" — but what more do you really need to know?
