Louisa Nicklin Unveils Self-Titled Debut Album + Video For 'Moving Slow'

Annabel Kean / Tuesday 25th May, 2021 1:30PM

Louisa Nicklin invites you into the sweeping world of her self-titled debut album today, having drip fed fans a tantalising run of singles since lead track 'To Be Fine' dropped in February. Louisa Nicklin gives Nicklin and her bandmates Mason Fairey (The Naenae Express, Green Grove) and Eamon Edmundson-Wells (Pixels) a proper introduction and the space to flex their folksy lyric skills, musical interplay and charm. Deliciously complementing Nicklin's resonant vocals are album contributions from Jong-Yun Lee, Antonia Barnett-McIntosh, Charlotte Nicklin and Harry Falkiner, who crop up in moments of keys, brass and fully epic strings. The band celebrates the album on tour this June and July, but squeeze in a bonus in store appearance at Flying Out this Saturday. Start your Louisa Nicklin journey with the gorgeous, grainy video for album opener 'Moving Slow', made with support from NZ On Air by production duo Gussie Larkin and Ezra Simons...
