Julie Lamb Outfit Announce New Shows For Barmy Jarmies Tour

Julie Lamb and her seven funk-pop groovemongers have had such a wonderful time touring their album How Humans Think over the last two months that they're extending The Barmy Jarmies joy to four extra towns throughout July and August. Compiled of like-minded creators Giacomo Caleffi, John O'connor, Chris Fursdon, Miranda Turner, Frank Talbot, Kali Barton, Shan Jordan and of course, Julie Lamb, the octet have already hit five North Island spots, and will be hopping across the strait to Dunedin, Oamaru, Christchurch and Barrytown for a series of "Pay What You Want - Say Wut!?" shows. Not only busy bees on the road, the outfit have released a sax-packed new single 'Age And Attitude' and shared a video clip for album track 'Thunderface'. As reported from the tour van, "Every stop on the tour has benefitted from excessive purchases of fish and chips, pizza and kebabs, and the van is filled with dad jokes from books purchased from second hand shops", although they promise no dad jokes will spill over into their performances. Dates and details here, new audio / video offerings below...

Press release:

With support from the Aotearoa Touring Fund and the generosity of audiences so far - the Julie Lamb Outfit has extended their Barmy Jarmies Tour tour for another 6 dates. They are pleased to be wearing dressing gowns and slippers as they'll hit the south island in the middle of winter... hmmm It's been a fantastic few bungy trips thus far - and each gig moves the songs forward. Every stop on the tour has benefitted from excessive purchases of fish and chips, pizza and kebabs, and the van is filled with dad jokes from books purchased from second hand shops. It's okay though - so far you're safe from them spilling off stage... I'm not certain the next venues will be as lucky. Seriously though, we're proud as punch to have released 3 new songs, and 2 videos - and to acknowledge the landmark of more than 100k views of the videos from "How Humans Think" over on YouTube. We're grateful for the continued interest, and KNOW you'll enjoy the live gigs even more than the recorded offerings.
