Whanganui-based songwriter (and newly appointed Durie Hill elevator operator) Anthonie Tonnon will be touring his third studio album Leave Love Out Of This throughout the country come spring. Along with news of six shows at some of Aotearoa's most loved venues, Tonnon has treated us to the LP's title track and a jaw-dropping video to boot. While singles 'Entertainment' and 'Two Free Hands' had us tapping our toes, the glorious new 'Leave Love Out Of This' will give you goosebumps. It features co-writer and The Beths member Jonathan Pearce on synths, Stuart Harwood on drums, and a string quartet courtesy of Charmian Keay and Matthew Bodman. The suitably grand video was created by Tonnon and his team of directors Karlya Smith and Jenna Todd at the 122 year-old Royal Whanganui Opera House... and outer space.

Harwood and three more, David Flyger, Steph Brown (Lips) and Sam Taylor (Nadia Reid), will join Tonnon on the release tour in September, the first time he's recruited a band for his live shows since 2018. Find out more below, and take a trip into the surreal world of Anthonie Tonnon's 'Leave Love Out Of This'...
