Phoebe Rings Drop Second Single 'Spissky'
It's been a long and painful ten months since their super popular debut 'Cheshire' dropped, but Tāmaki's magical Phoebe Rings have graced our Friday with their second ever single 'Spissky'. Moving on from their journey through wonderland, songwriter Crystal Choi has turned her attention to the very real ruins of Spiš Castle, a massive abandoned castle in Eastern Slovakia — spooky! Brought back to life by Choi and bandmates Ben Locke (Sea Views), Alex Freer (A.C. Freazy) and Simeon Kavanagh-Vincent (Lucky Boy), on 'Spissky' the castle becomes a dreamy "silent secret keeper" in the clouds and somewhere I would very much like to beautify à la The Secret Garden. Phoebe Rings and LIPS embark on a joint tour later this month in celebration of LIPS' album I Don't Know Why I Do Anything. Find out where you can catch two outstanding live acts in one go, and wrap your ears around glittery new track 'Spissky'...
