Announced this week as special guest for Dimmer's I Believe You Are A Star 20th anniversary tour, Proteins Of Magic aka Kelly Sherrod has unveiled a majestic second single from her forthcoming self-titled debut album. Looking a little bit like a warped Tony Oursler artwork, Sherrod's inventive lyric video for 'Hopeful Symphony' continues POM's sterling run of eye-popping self-made animated videos, starring "an intergalactic worry doll who sings an invocation for emotional protection." Back in Aotearoa with family following an extended stint in Nashville, Tennessee, the gig schedule for the former Punches co-leader's solo project looks to be filling up fast indeed — you can experience POM firsthand at the following dates, with more shows to be revealed soon...
