Watch Martin Sagadin's Music Film 'Songs In The Hills With Archer'

Back before the universe shat catastrophic climate and disease disasters all over us, one sweet, filmmaker Martin Sagadin journeyed into the rolling, golden vistas of Ōtautahi's Port Hills with folk songwriter Archer and captured three sun-kissed acoustic tunes. Titled Songs In The Hills With Archer, the 14-minute long film is the first in a series of music shorts from Sagadin (co-creator of today's new French For Rabbits video), as well as forthcoming full-length music documentary Hovering featuring artists Hob, Richard Dada and Ben Woods. This first offering immortalises a moment in Archer's 2020 Aotearoa tour with Ōtepoti artist Flora Knight, with Archer and Sagadin escaping into Te Pataka o Rākaihautū to record 'There Was A Grove', 'O, My Baby Koala' and improvised number 'Song Of The Unknown #3,267,331'. Shot and edited by Sagadin, mastered by Ryan Chin (Ryan Fisherman), take a step back in time to some place sunnier and calmer...
