Performing at Tāmaki Makaurau's upcoming The Others Way festival in November, somewhat enigmatic psych-rockers The Fuzzy Robes made their debut public appearance in Ōtautahi last month, just before our live gig community was forced to hit pause on shows due to you know what. Playing their Top 20 debut album Night Prayers in full for the occasion, heavenly live footage has emerged of the band busting loose an organ-drenched 'Kyrie Eleison' in St Saviour's at Holy Trinity Lyttelton — an apt venue as the long player was recorded "in secret over ten fevered wintry days and nights in remote chapels around the South Island". We're saying a few prayers of our own with the hope The Fuzzy Robes will be blessing us with even more tunes in the physical realm this spring — experience 'Kyrie Eleison' below...
