Dimmer Announce New Christchurch Venue For 'I Believe You Are A Star' Tour

Now's a significant moment for Aotearoa's live music community, as the promise of unrestricted gigs sparkles on the horizon like a shiny gem. Touring nationwide this December in celebration of the twentieth anniversary of Dimmer's landmark debut album I Believe You Are A Star (being reissued on limited edition vinyl LP), due to hot demand Shayne P. Carter and his stellar live band's Ōtautahi event is moving venues to the larger capacity Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū, and will now be an all ages show. Carter has assembled a doozy of a Dimmer lineup for this summer's rapidly selling out tour, including Gary Sullivan (JPSE), James Duncan, Nick Roughan (Skeptics), Louisa Nicklin, Neive Strang and Lachlan Anderson (Die Die Die). Dimmer is delighted to bring the show to the stunning Art Gallery. And after the original Dunedin and Christchurch gigs quickly sold out, it’s wonderful to now be able to offer tickets for this larger capacity space to those in the South Island who missed out. And this show is open to all ages!
