Dimmer Announce New Dates For 'I Believe You Are A Star' NZ Tour

Aotearoa's live gig community is existing in a bit of a quantum state right now, essentially stuck on hold due to our current Level 4 lockdown, but there is light on the horizon. Shayne P. Carter has announced brand new dates for his forthcoming I Believe You Are A Star tour, celebrating the 20th anniversary and vinyl reissue of Dimmer's landmark debut long player. Now supported for all shows by Proteins Of Magic (who just released a stunning debut album of her own), Carter with full band will be travelling throughout the nation this summer, wrapping up just before Christmas at Tāmaki Makaurau's Mercury Theatre. The new Dimmer live lineup is certainly not to be missed, including Gary Sullivan (JPSE), James Duncan, Nick Roughan (Skeptics), Louisa Nicklin, Neive Strang and Lachlan Anderson (Die Die Die).
