Watch JANG'S Wild West Video For 'El Alamo'
Tāmaki Makaurau punk-rock trio JANG aka Paddy Fox, Alex Ross Smith and Jono Laycock have whipped up new track 'El Alamo' and a wild west lockdown music video for your enjoyment. Last on our radar in December 2020 with their killer psych-punk EP COPS, the party cowboys bring their fuzzy guitar and relentless tempo back for 'El Alamo', a song they recorded, mixed and mastered in just three days. As you do when your band's in level four lockdown limbo, JANG got creative with their music video venture, and I wouldn't blame you for wondering 'Did guitarist Paddy Fox really travel to Alamo, Texas?' considering his outstanding desert backdrop and cactus set piece. As inferred from their social media mentions "We've got heaps of shit in the pipes!" and hashtags #new #ep #ontheway, it's safe to say there's much more where this came from. JANG are set to play with Video Nasty And The Ideas next month, so pop that into your calendar and rip into 'El Alamo' for a guaranteed smile on your dial — and watch out for some semi-nude content from 1:28 onwards...
