Aotearoa experimentalist Charlie (OPI) has unveiled a new four track EP signifying the end of an artistic era. Creator of 2019's stunning VIEW FROM ELSEWHERE and this year's expansive follow up VIEW FROM OUTSIDE, the hazy questing sonics of before the ground will peel the skin straight from your skull. Moving at a glacial pace yet radiating white hot emotional energy, the collection paints haunting images from an aural palette encompassing ambient, dream-pop, extreme metal, avant-folk and field recordings. "Here is a small gathering of bits, bonus songs, from between, the last moments, the rattle from within a hope, a last gasp to be free of a place, a feeling, the last songs of Charlie (OPI). The end of something I didnt know was ending, before/untill I met Cryer. Made with the intention to aid transitioning lands, before returning to the ground, before another left to be the earth, before before before, the change, into someone else, without someone else."
