Melbourne pop-punk trio Camp Cope share 'Blue', the band's first single since their smangin' 2018 album How To Socialise & Make Friends and a sneak peek at their upcoming third album, due out next year on Poison City Records. Lead track 'Blue' launches straight into opening lyric "Phone in my hand still, checking if you called — I'm double texting, no I've never been cool", setting the tone for a future-classic millennial belter, exploring the cruel struggle of maintaining relationships while deeply depressed. A softer sound from Camp Cope, the new release reflects the slowed pace of recording music in a pandemic, and suggests the album to come will draw from three and a half years of new cities, new lives, and new outlooks. Last here in Aotearoa for 2019's Laneway festival, listen to the latest from Camp Cope for a blue-tinted afternoon...

Camp Cope's third studio album is out in 2022 via Poison City Records.
