Watch Anthonie Tonnon's Video For 'Peacetime Orders'
When he's not manning the elevator at Durie Hill, Whanganui artist and national treasure Anthonie Tonnon takes us to the top floor of his NZ Chart-hitting LP Leave Love Out Of This with the long-awaited video for album favourite 'Peacetime Orders'. Directed by Waiheke artist Kristy Pearson, the new clip is stunning in its simplicity, capturing Tonnon and his guitar, solo on stage, swept up in celestial projections — just like what you may have experienced had you caught the APRA Silver Scroll finalist live in the past three years. Now however, moving on from his conceptual one-man shows, Anthonie Tonnon tours the country next March and April with a full band for the first time since 2018. Along with new live bandmates Stuart Harwood, David Flyger, Brooke Singer (French for Rabbits) and Sam Taylor (Nadia Reid), the Tonno tour will feature support from shannengeorgiapetersen, Emily Fairlight and more.
