Live Photos + Video: DARTZ, Doons, F.A.I.R.Y — San Fran, Wellington

No limits live shows were back across much of Aotearoa on Friday night and gig-goers were out in full force to catch Pōneke party punks DARTZ deliver a triumphant hometown headline show at San Fran. Supported by buds Doons and new supergroup F.A.I.R.Y, it looks like the self-proclaimed 'band from Wellington, New Zealand' did indeed succeed in their mission to "save summer". The packed-out show was documented for the ages by gig photography maestro Bruce Mackay, who also captured wild video encore footage of Danz, Rollyz, Crispy and Clark Mathews busting out the Beastie Boys' high octane classic 'Sabotage' that you can check out below. Operating under Orange traffic light settings with vaccine passes being required, Danz praised San Fran co-owner Ziggy Ziya over on social media for being 100% on top of things the whole night through.
