The festival gods smile upon us today as a dozen Splendour In The Grass Aotearoa sideshows are announced and locked in for July this year. Not only will the Pick 'n' Mix series deliver some of the first overseas acts we've seen in yonks, the names are HUGE. Like, bona fide rock legend Liam Gallagher huge. US rap star JPEGMAFIA and alt-country icon-in-the-making Orville Peck huge. Also among the jaw-dropping SITG sideshow selection are Lil Nas X collaborator Jack Harlow, multi award-winning Yorkshire pop-rock songwriter YUNGBLUD, Philly hip-hop sensation Tierra Whack and heaps more. Live Nation and Secret Sounds have today announced a huge selection of Splendour in the Grass sideshows for New Zealand this July 2022. Pick ‘n’ mix headline performances include bonafide rock ‘n’ roll star and living legend Liam Gallagher, the nimble wordplay and unpredictable rhyme patterns of one of the hottest acts in the world right now Jack Harlow, and New Zealand’s favourite Yorkshire born singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist YUNGBLUD. Tickets for all shows go on sale Monday 14 February at 9am.
