Michael James Keane Unveils Single ‘Midnight Scene’

Te Whanganui-a-Tara's songwriting dark prince Michael James Keane (of So Laid Back Country China) has unveiled the third single from his forthcoming second solo album Wandering Bull. The gently loping ‘Midnight Scene’ conjures strung-out, bleary-eyed feelings with tender strings, glacial piano stabs, country-tinted guitar strum and of course Keane's startlingly deep vocal croon that will send you reeling. Recorded, mixed and produced by James Goldsmith at The Surgery (who also co-arranged the new record), and including contributors Harriet Ferry (So Laid Back Country China), Julia Catherine-Parr (Black City Lights), Callum Gay and Daniel Cuzens (both of Spook the Horses), Wandering Bull launches on 4th March via Meow — stream ‘Midnight Scene’ below...
