Community Garden Presents DJ Plead — Auckland Show Announced

Tāmaki Makaurau's Community Garden reactivate with a spring party on 15th October, welcoming Sydney-based producer DJ Plead aka Jarred Beeler to Whammy Bar, alongside BBYFACEKILLA and head of Hafleh collective حلالاماما (Halalamama). A leading figure in innovative Australasian club music, whose peers include recent visitors to our shores Logic1000 and Air Max ‘97, DJ Plead has dropped releases via such international imprints as Club Chai, DECISIONS, AD 93, Livity Sound and his own imprint Sumac since 2018, launching the album-length Relentless Trills (Boomkat) in 2020. Community Garden are incredibly pleased to present: DJ Plead, October 15th at Whammy Bar.

Since the mid 2010s, DJ Plead has begun rolling fwd a new sound in Australasian club music, alongside the likes of Logic1000, Air Max ‘97 and Big Ever.

Truly a prince of percs, Plead taps in with dabke, mahraganat, the UK club continuum, and onwards - all being presented with tuff dexterity - garnering releases on Club Chai, Livity Sound, DECISIONS, AD93, Nervous Horizon, as well as his own SUMAC.

We can't wait to welcome him for his first show in Tāmaki Makaurau; alongside the Head of Hafleh Halalamama حلالاماما, and the ever-trenchant BBYFACEKILLA.
