Listen To Two Tracks From 'Outlier Festival 2022: New Electronic Music From Aotearoa'
Happening over three days and nights from 7th to 9th October, Tāmaki Makaurau's Outlier Festival 2022 is "a multi-modal project platforming new electronic music from Aotearoa’s experimental and exploratory practitioners," presented by Audio Foundation. Artistic directors Grace Verweij (Sequentia, Related Articles) and Tash van Schaardenburg (Citacsy) have curated a new compilation of tracks by artists associated with this year's programme, helping provide newcomers with an accessible entry point for the genre-straddling festival of bleeding-edge sonics from throughout Aotearoa.
Entitled Outlier Festival 2022: New Electronic Music From Aotearoa, the immersive first two tracks on the compilation have been revealed today — 'Yoga For Losers' by Ex-Partner and 'Everything's Perpetual' by Te Papaioea's Synthetic Children — releasing in full on 1st October via new local imprint Audio Foundation Records (AFR). Scope out the festival timetable details, feast your eyes upon the seventeen strong track listing, preorder yourself a strictly limited edition compact disc of the crucial collection HERE and hit play below...
