Listen To First Move's Single 'One Moment Please'
Te Papaioea's First Move casually unveiled late last week their first official new single in a year and a half 'One Moment Please'. Sporting characteristically killer artwork by Grant Sheridan, the trio of vocalist / guitarist bassist Harry Lilley, guitarist Fraser William (also of Sports Dreams) and drummer Jono Galuszka conjure crushing sensations not unlike shifting tectonic plates on their crisply executed slo-mo stunner. The song was laid down ("for the most-part") at iconic all-ages community space The Stomach, whose SwampFest22 celebrations kick off tonight. Hit that play button and catch First Move supporting Louisville, Kentucky post-rock collective June of 44 in Te Whanganui-a-Tara this coming March....
"A new single that came to us during the passage of strange times... This song came about through the process of recording some others. It ended up being something that we've really enjoyed working on, a slight tangent from the usual path I guess." — First Move
