Press release:
With less than 2 weeks until Fatboy Slim returns to New Zealand to tour the country, the support acts who are responsible for getting the Kiwis dancing before Fatboy Slim takes to the stage have been announced.
US Producer, DJ and Pianist LP GIOBBI will feature in Christchurch, Napier and Gardens Music Festival in Auckland. Recently announced for Coachella 2023, this will be her first tour of New Zealand. Producer, DJ, pianist, entrepreneur, and activist LP Giobbi is an unstoppable force in the music industry, whose passion for her craft extends far beyond the stage. Since emerging in 2018, the Austin-based piano house queen has played to thousands of fans across the globe, performing on the stages of Coachella, EDC, Firefly, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and ACL, and supporting such heavyweights as Galantis, SOFI TUKKER, MK, Fatboy Slim, Madeon, and Diplo.
After record breaking residencies in Ibiza and regular festival sets across the globe, British house producers SOLARDO return to New Zealand to warm up proceedings in Wellington, Queenstown and Taupo. And fresh from their highlight set at Rhythm and Vines, Australian producers SET MO return to deliver their addictive dance floor anthems to Napier and Gardens Music Festival in Auckland.
The Fatboy Slim tour also features local support for his 8 shows from SIN, DICK JOHNSON, GENERAL LEE, BECCIE B, SWEETMIX KIDS and SNEEKY. The full lineup for Fatboy Slim & Friends at Gardens Music Festival to be announced on Monday, January 16.
