Like some kind of musical katamari of top local talent, Tāmaki Makaurau all-stars Phoebe Rings have unveiled a splendid new video for their song 'Lazy Universe' — directed / animated by cartoon wiz Chris "Chippy" Hutchinson, produced by Sports Team and made with support from NZ On Air. Feeling as sparkling fresh as when it first appeared on Phoebe Rings' 2021 self-titled debut EP, the song is reimagined by Chippy who literally taught himself how to animate to make the candy coloured clip. Packed to the gills with friendly planets and frolicsome spacefaring types, 'Lazy Universe' launched yesterday afternoon just in time for Valentine's Day.
