The Ragga Twins North Island Headline Shows Announced

UK innovators The Ragga Twins are following this week's Splore appearance with club-igniting headline events in Tāmaki Makaurau and Raglan, joined by their regular DJ Krucial at both shows, plus bona-fide Bristol legend RSD aka Rob Smith (Smith & Mighty) at super city hotspot The Mothership. The long-running project of Deman Rocker and Flinty Badman, The Ragga Twins' groundbreaking gruff breakbeat-driven early '90s tracks with Shut Up & Dance including 'Spliffhead', 'Hooligan 69', and 'Mixed Truth' paved the way for the jungle / drum 'n' bass explosion that still shakes sound systems across the globe. Regular collaborators with Aquasky from 2001 onwards (with whom they dropped a run of releases on Passenger Records), The Ragga Twins notably contributed to Skrillex's 2014 debut album Recess.
