Gold Fang: What made you get into music?

JessB: Being a fan first and foremost!!

Gold Fang: How did you know that this was something you wanted to pursue?

I started doing music as a hobby and compared to other things that I had pursued in my life, I felt like the work I was putting in was being reflected in the progress I was making. It felt like the right path.

Gold Fang:
What were you like as a kid?

Energetic, excitable, cute (depending on who you ask).

Gold Fang:
Were you always a rude gyal?

???(yes)

Gold Fang:
How do you have Caribbean vibes?

My influences have come from a lot of the music I listen to, and the people around me. I see myself and my music as the sum of many parts.

JessB: Who would be in your dream blunt circle?

Gold Fang: I’d like to smoke a blunt with Al Pacino, Mike Tyson, Snoop Dogg (of course) and Bob Marley. You know what I’m saying… I’d also smoke with Skepta and ask him why he DJing so much.

JessB: Dream music collaboration?

Gold Fang: Damian Marley and Elton John, they are my two all-time favourites. 'I’m Still Standing' is my favourite Elton song.

JessB: Ideal holiday destination?

Gold Fang: Speyside Tobago, where my Grandma’s grew up. It’s just a beautiful place and it has views that I have never seen anywhere else since leaving.

JessB: Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

Gold Fang: Thriving! I see myself living off music and expanding into several businesses. I wanna buy my family a house in Tobago.

JessB:
Best musical advice you have ever gotten?

Gold Fang: Keep at it. Trust your gut. Have good people around you.
