deepState Unveils Title Track For New Album 'Dreams'

Tāmaki Makaurau electronic producer deepState aka Jessica Morgan has unfurled the spellbinding title track from her forthcoming second album Dreams, out in full on 1st September via Sunreturn. Weaving together elements of trip hop, trance, hypnagogic house and Brain-friendly happy hardcore to invoke somnambulistic states of mind, 'Dreams' is uplifted into the stratosphere by gorgeous RnB vocal samples from sources unknown to this listener. In red hot demand in clubland as well as the studio, deepState has a busy winter ahead — supporting UK jungle stars 4AM KRU with a cast of local heroes at Te Whanganui-a-Tara's Valhalla this Thursday (tickets are already sold out), playing at FoodCourt Presents: Superstars at Ōtautahi's Flux on 28th July, and returning to the garden city on 18th August with Wellness bandmates for Melted Ice Cream's Better Living In Real Life! double venue extravaganza, details below....

I feel Dreams showcases my love for both somber electronica and high energy dance music combining elements of garage, ambient, and trance styles. With Dreams I combined these with some uplifting synth and arpeggiated melodies to see how I could bring them together in my own way.
