The Others Way Festival 2023 Lineup Announced - Souls Of Mischief, Mary Lattimore, Herbs, The Veils, Trinity Roots + More

Sound the trumpets — it's time to reveal the ripper first lineup The Others Way Festival 2023! Happening on 1st December, Tāmaki Makaurau's multi-venue extravaganza will be headlined by Oakland rap icons Souls Of Mischief, celebrating the 30th anniversary of their breakout debut album 93 'Til Infinity, with international special guests also including US harp virtuoso Mary Lattimore and Puerto Rican via LA dub sensation Pachyman (who really got the dancefloor cooking when he supported Automatic here earlier this year).

Local heavy hitters on the sonically diverse bill include Aotearoa reggae legends Herbs playing a special acoustic set, Pōneke's beloved Trinity Roots, the return of Twin Peaks stars The Veils, an exceedingly rare live set from Opensouls, Kane Strang's new project Office Dog, red hot Tāmaki-based South African rapper Jujulipps, "sewer pop" electronic dance trio Grecco Romank, Ōtautahi bedroom pop champion Pickle Darling, space / spiritual jazz collective The Circling Sun, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Happening throughout Karangahape Road, this year's venue spaces include an outdoor stage on Galatos Street (ideal for the first day of summer), plus there'll be a dedicated all-ages stage at The Underground (bill yet to be unveiled). The first day of summer 2023 (December 1) will see audiences at Auckland's favourite multi-venue music festival spoilt for choice with over 40 acts playing at venues up and down the city's beating heart: Karangahape Road and its surrounds. This year’s festival includes an outdoor stage on Galatos Street and a dedicated all ages stage at The Underground with lineup to be announced.

Having secured a special place in music lovers' hearts since its inception in 2015, The Others Way has captured a dedicated audience of music enthusiasts and tastemakers by bringing a diverse and eclectic lineup of indie, pop, hip-hop, soul, punk, metal and more. As a result The Others Way Festival has not just sustained, but expanded over time.
