Tāmaki Makaurau's Swallow The Rat armour up for a big year to come with a new video for 'Chain Mail' from their standout latest album South Locust, launched with details of a seventeen date US tour — including an appearance at SXSW in Austin, Texas. A squalling critique of "scripted media announcements from political parties in Aotearoa," Kyle Sattler's (We Will Ride Fast) stop motion animated, collaged clip for 'Chain Mail' peels skin away to reveal gruesome fleshy interiors. The trio of Brian Purington, Hayden Fritchley and Stephen Horsley will be sharpening their stagecraft this summer locally at The Wine Cellar with fellow noise-rockers from Adelaide Twine and Neither Do I, don't miss them before they jet away...
