Hannah Everingham Announces 'Siempre Tiene Flores' Album Release Tour

Hailed by such infallible voices in Aotearoa music as Robert Scott (who gushed “go see her!”) and Tony Stamp (RNZ's The Sampler), Hannah Everingham's accomplished 2022 debut album BETWEEN BODIES left listeners wanting even more. Launching her sophomore long player Siempre Tiene Flores on 15th March via Leather Jacket Records and her own imprint Underunderground Records, the Ōtautahi artist returns to Aotearoa following a songwriting / performing stretch in NYC, embarking on for a nationwide release tour in April and May.

“Siempre Tiene Flores means to ‘always have flowers’. I think the songs might serve as love-letters to those flowers. We recorded this album one dense winter in Ōtautahi, and somehow it became this very warm, almost tropically minded, piece of work. I remember Doug, who plays percussion + vibraphone on the record, brought a whole lot of his homegrown dried fruit along to the days we spent recording and I ate a lot of the dried plums and pears. I’m thinking maybe I can hear the fruit’s presence on the record, the evolution of the flowers." — Hannah Everingham

With an ever-growing array of live performances under her belt from New York to New Zealand, Hannah Everingham has quickly garnered a reputation for herself amongst New Zealand’s independent music scene.
