Capturing the nation's imagination last year with the first ever DOUGFEST, organiser Doug Menzies is officially doubling down (Dougling down?) this spring. Sparked when Menzies boldly accepted a bet "to see who could pull off a music festival" while having a few drinks with mates, 2DOUG 2FEST expands on that singular vision twofold, featuring "10 BANDS. 2 DAYS. 1 DOUG" at Kirikiriroa's iconic Last Place on 25th and 26th October. The high octane bill includes the first show in seven years by Bay of Plenty post-hardcore crew Barracks, so rev up your engines and head along — hosted by Thief 'n' Zard...
