Phoebe Rings Announce Debut Album 'Aseurai' + Share 'Drifting' & Title Track

We've witnessed something of a Phoebe Rings deluge over the past few months, as the Tāmaki Makaurau dream team's alliance with Carpark Records (home to The Beths, Hans Pucket) has borne fruit a reissue of their self-titled EP (with new material), their own video game, a bonus EP of SNES versions of selected tunes (!) and soon the release of their forthcoming debut album Aseurai. What began as the solo project of Crystal Choi has evolved to become a fully-fledged collaboration with bandmates Simeon Kavanagh-Vincent, Benjamin Locke and Alex Freer. Their impatiently awaited long player will be out in full on 6th June, and today fans are gifted both a relaunch of their spellbinding title track, plus brand new synth-squelching city pop stunner 'Drifting' — which also handily explains the name their forthcoming local tour.
