Watch Dick Move's Video for New Single 'Nurses'
Jetting abroad this weekend for a September tour of the EU, Tāmaki Makaurau punk collective Dick Move unleash a lolly scramble of great news to get fans rarked up for the months to come. They've announced their third studio album Dream, Believe, Achieve will be out on 14th November as a joint release via 1:12 Records and Flying Nun Records, plus shared a video for 'Nurses', a snarling protest anthem flipside to Dick Move's recent 'Fuck It' 7" vinyl single.
Directed by Stella Reid and made with support from NZ On Air, Dick Move singer Lucy Suttor and a worryingly injured Johanna Cosgrove take a few detours around Pōneke's winding streets in the tragicomic clip for 'Nurses'. Lucky super city dwellers can catch Dick Move letting rip tonight for free at Whammy Bar, with dungeon techno power trio Grecco Romank (Dick Move on 8.30pm / Grecco 9.15pm). A nurse herself, Suttor knows exactly what she's calling out...
"When the Government chooses landlords over nurses, it’s not neglect, it’s strategy. Defund, destabilise, privatise — that’s the playbook. And we’re calling it out." - Lucy Suttor
'Nurses' is out now on major streaming platforms via Flying Nun Records.
