D.C. Maxwell Unveils Single & Video 'Golden Light'
As Haddaway famously asked in the early nineties, "What is love?" D.C. Maxwell looks both outward and inward for fresh insights into this most timeless of themes, confronting "a not insignificant amount of fear" all in the name of love on the Naarm-based Aotearoa alt-rock artist's new single 'Golden Light'.
Unafraid to radiate raw emotion and fragility while summoning post-grunge guitar / drums grandeur, the recently married songwriter went undercover to film his self-directed DIY video for 'Golden Light'. Shot at dawn "semi-legally on a warehouse rooftop in Preston, Victoria", D.C. Maxwell's dance movements express a burning passion operating at the limits of language.
