The Beths Touring Aotearoa New Zealand in March + Play 'Straight Line Was A Lie' on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Quite possibly the most adored Aotearoa group on Planet Earth right now, The Beths have punctuated their mammoth ongoing tour of the northern hemisphere with a live performance last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! — a television show recently at the centre of significant censorship discourse in the USA. Touring their chart-topping fourth studio album Straight Line Was A Lie (out now via ANTI-), hailed by Pitchfork as "the group’s most incisive album", The Beths thrill local fans with the announcement of a seven date tour of their homeland, playing double night residencies at Tāmaki Makaurau's Powerstation and Pōneke's Meow Nui, plus a run of headline events in Ōtautahi, Ōtepoti, and Whakatū Nelson this coming March.
We strongly recommend not mucking about if you want to catch bandmates Elizabeth Stokes, Jonathan Pearce, Benjamin Sinclair and Tristan Deck at a venue near you. Nab tickets from next week onwards, watch them looking and sounding fantastic playing the poignant title track to Straight Line Was A Lie on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and get up to speed with their overseas adventures by watching Episode Three - Straight Line Was A Lie Tour, produced by drummer Tristan Deck...
