Kraanium (NOR) Announce Wellington Show with Slaughtercult (AUS)

It's a happy Halloween indeed for Aotearoa's legions of slam devotees, as Norway's Kraanium are heading to Aotearoa New Zealand for one show only at Te Whanganui-a-Tara's temple of metal extremity Valhalla. Creators of an unfathomably brutal, morbidly depraved and absolutely NSFW recorded oeuvre — seriously, if you have squeamish sensibilities do not Google this group — from their 2008 debut Ten Acts of Sickening Perversity up to their latest, 2023's Scriptures of Vicennial Defilement, these kings of slamming brutal death metal will be joined in the capital by special guests Slaughtercult from New South Wales. Not unlike a Faust underground comic as sound, lovers of sonic debauchery will be in hog heaven when Kraanium let rip this coming April, here are the details...

For over two decades, KRAANIUM have ruled the slam world with a blood-slick crown, dragging their twisted, groove-soaked brutality across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Born in Norway in 2001, the band helped define slamming brutal death metal turning obscene speed and perverse groove into an international cult. Six albums deep, signed to Unique Leader Records, and still filthier than ever, Kraanium have shared the stage with everyone from Abominable Putridity to Vulvodynia, leaving nothing but broken necks and grinning corpses in their wake.
