Negative Approach (USA) Touring Aotearoa New Zealand in November
Pioneering giants of Detroit hardcore punk, Negative Approach are ground zero for multiple generations of teeth-gnashing, guitar-mangling, agro-fuelled outfits worldwide. Their influence resonating far beyond the group's brief initial 1981 to 1983 run, Negative Approach's only studio album Tied Down is a foundational classic of the era. Reactivated in 2006 and still charging hard with founding vocalist John Brannon (Laughing Hyenas, Easy Action) at the helm, local pit enthusiasts will be stoked as hell Negative Approach are heading down under for the very first time this November. Their headline dates in Tāmaki Makaurau, Te Whanganui-a-Tara and Ōtautahi will be unmissable occasions for Aotearoa's hardcore masses — tickets are on sale now so do not snooze...

Press release:
At long last, one of the most vital bands to ever help start the movement are finally bringing their legacy-level, household hardcore anthems to Aus & NZ!
Negative Approach. Yep, that one. Formed back in 81 and thought to be gone soon after, NA left us a short but permanent set of songs that still stand strong above the majority to this day.
Reformed again only in 06, they pummelled their way right back through with even more fury than round 1. No cash grab reunion, no bullshit, just vital hardcore for the ages here in full force. Be there or remain irrelevant.
