Lebanon Hanover (UK / CHE) Auckland Show Announced
A Swiss–British duo at the forefront of minimal wave's shadowy resurgence, Lebanon Hanover are journeying down under this spring for a one-off debut Aotearoa headline show at Tāmaki Makaurau's Double Whammy. Coaxing chilly soundscapes from vintage synths, clattering drum boxes and cinematic washes of post-punk guitar / bass from 2011 onwards, Larissa Iceglass and William Maybelline's extensive oeuvre includes seven studio album so far, including their latest, 2025's Asylum Lullabies. Devotees of dance-igniting gothic rock / cold wave ought to be flocking to St Kevin's Arcade on 12th September...

Press release:
Darkwave post-punk duo Lebanon Hanover are an ice cold reply to the alienated world coming from two warm beating hearts.
Larissa Iceglass and William Maybelline appear as true romantics of the modern age, admiring William Wordsworth, fascinated by the beauty of art nouveau aesthetics, exploring British seashores and forests at night, whilst being inspired by the urbanism of Berlin.
Saturday September 12th, 2026 the duo will make their debut performance in New Zealand at Double Whammy, Auckland.
