Hosting sonic revolutionaries from all around Aotearoa and the world beyond at their central Tāmaki Makaurau hub for nigh on fifteen years, Audio Foundation have announced a doozy of a lineup for The 3rd Aotearoa International Festival Of Secret(e) Sounds. This year's fest hosts some big guns indeed across seven nights orbiting the AF's hub in Myers Park in mid-February. The 2026 edition includes a Saturday evening event at Auckland Unitarian, a SILO SOLOS Sunday evening showcase at Wynard Quarter, a Vitamin S improvisational showcase at Public Bar and a concluding Whammy Bar bill — featuring a collaborative headline set by visiting luminaries Jim White (Dirty Three) and Marisa Anderson.
This year's bill also includes visitors from abroad Phil Durrant, Leila Adu (back in Aotearoa from the northern hemisphere), Anna Fält, Christoph Gallio, Ira Hadžić and Alex Ventling, performing with and alongside special guest local legends.
