Strange Universe: Winter 2026 - Full Lineup Announced
Hosting a macrocosmic menagerie of world-renowned, genre-busting (and in multiple cases genre-defining) artists in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland from late May onwards, the knock-your-socks-off full lineup for Strange Universe: Winter 2026 has been revealed. Brought to you by Banished Music and Strange News, new headliners for the multi-night / multi-venue festival are Aotearoa interstellar jazz voyagers The Circling Sun and recent additions US fuzz lords The Black Angels, plus the complete roster of special guest top local talents has been announced for every show.
